MUSÉE RODIN IN PARIS

As you may have seen on my Instagram stories, last week I was in Paris with Julia for few days and we finally got the change to visit Musée Rodin.

Certainly museums such as the Louvre or the Musée d’Orsay are among the largest and most impressive museums in Paris. They are listed in every top 10 list of Parisian museums, but smaller Parisian museums deserve attention too, just like the impressive Rodin Museum.

What you can see at the Musée Rodin in Paris?

Today, the Rodin Museum in Paris is almost dedicated exclusively to the works and sculptures of Auguste Rodin and his personal art collection. Not only the exhibition inside the former Hôtel Biron, but also the garden of the Musée Rodin is a breathtaking green oasis in the heart of Paris.

The masterpieces on display include The Kiss and The Thinker as well as works by Rodin’s muse, Camille Claudel. Auguste Rodin moved into the Hôtel Biron in 1908, where he also worked, exhibited and received visitors.

A single ticket for adults costs currently € 13, and it gives access to the Permanent Collections shown in the Hôtel Biron, but also to the sculptures garden and the current temporary exhibition. Due to many strikes in Paris, for the opening hours and more information, visit the official website here.

A visit to the Musée Rodin will definitely be a highlight of your stay in Paris.
