LIPSTICK TRENDS FALL/WINTER 2020/21

Even though we are living in uncertain times, nothing can stop us to look and feel good about ourselves. There are a number of simple things that anyone can do to lift their mood. If we look and feel our best, even if we are staying at home instead of going out with our friends, will instantly lift our mood and make us feel better. So put on some lipstick and pull yourself together.

These latest 2020 lipstick trends will look great with any outfits, on any skin tone, as well as from day to evening looks:

TREND_no 1: CLASSIC RED LIPSTICK

A woman can never have too many classic red lipsticks. Since this is probably the most popular lip colour this year, make sure you at least own a classic red lipstick.

A classic red lipstick goes well with black outfits, but you can definitely make a red lipstick work with any outfit.

TREND_no 2: BROWN LIPSTICK

If bold lipstick colours like red and pink tones are not for you, then you should opt for natural tones like, chocolate, chestnut, hazel brown tones. There are so many gorgeous shades this season, from matte to shiny browns.

Brown is always stylish throughout the year, so wearing brown lipstick makes you always look fashionable.

TREND_no 3: NUDE LIPSTICK

On daily basis, I only wear nude lipstick, because I prefer something more neutral that makes my lips look beautifully shaped but also natural-looking.

Today nude lipsticks come in various shades, so depending on your skin colour you need to choose the right shade of nude that makes your lips and skin tone look healthy and beautiful.

TREND_no 4: THE GRADIENT LIPS

The gradient lip tend first started the beauty scene in Korea several years ago, but now it has become a global beauty trend. There are few steps how you can create the gradient lips: first you need to exfoliate your lips, and remove the dead skin cells and make your lips smoother and softer. Then you need to apply a lip balm for smoother-looking gradient lips. After you need to apply a very thin layer of concealer, especially if you’re new to this. You want to make your lips look a shade or two lighter, but you don’t want your lips to blend in with the rest of your face either. Then fill in the inner and lower area of your lips with the warm colour and finish it with lipgloss.

TREND_no 5: LIQUID & SHINY LIPSTICKS

Liquid and shiny lipsticks can be applied easily and keep your lips coloured and smooth all day long. I love liquid lipsticks that feel like glossy and shiny.

TREND_no 6: VELVET LIPSTICKS

For those who don’t like shiny and liquidly lipsticks, there are beautiful matte shades that come for every taste. Matte lipstick is sure to give your lips a velvet finish.
