While wide-leg pants are nothing new, they’re still coming back every season in different styles and fabrics. Finding the perfect wide-leg pants that provide versatile styling options, and doesn’t require any effort in the morning. For the FW21 runaway shows designers presented different styles, cuts, colors, and lengths of effortlessly chic wide-leg pants. From really relaxed silhouettes and long hemlines, you can pair the different pieces even with a simple white top and still look stylish.
Here I am wearing my favourite wide-leg pants by NEHERA, and I love pairing them with a simple top, to crochet tanks and crop tops to matching blazers and bold accessories. I find it perfect to wear from the office to Saturdays spent at the museum and beyond. Here are few styling notes:
Don’t buy a matching blazer and pants, but try to find the best individual pieces that you can wear as separates. Start with the wide-leg pants, then choose a different blazer, top and accessories that compliment each other. Whether through colors or textures, but don’t be afraid to look perfectly imperfect.
LOOK FOR SOMETHING SPECIAL
Instead of shopping for boring pants, look for something special with a Marlene Dietrich version that was made to impress. Find a detail that makes the pants be the focal point of the outfit.
BREAK THE FASHION RULES
The statement wide-leg pants are a great way to start embracing your personality and don’t be afraid to be different. Start playing with the style of the pants, for example: if your pants is plaid, combine it with a simple mono color top. If you’re wearing festive sequin wide leg pants, dare to match it with an oversized sweater, or if your pants are more simple, then choose a colorful blazer to make it look more artistic.
If you’re looking to update your statement wide leg pants and with which shoes to wear, you probably think of classic pumps first. A pair of sneakers works well to balance any kind of pants and still look stylish all day long.
